Learn to Create an Impressive Venetian Motif with great Colors

This live course will be streamed on 4th and 5th of March, 2023 with total duration of 6 hours.
In this course you will learn the characteristics of vivid contrasts when painting cityscapes. You will learn techniques and secrets that will allow you to create skylines at sunset.
There will be a theoretical and a practical part where you will create this beautiful plot together.
The course is especially for those who want to learn how to paint vivid contrasts and make bold strokes with paints, as well as for those who are interested in the technique of Rabi Alieva.

Please download and print the reference picture and the tone value sketch.
And prepare a small sketch (DIN A5 or DIN A6) of the motif for Saturday and a large sketch (DIN A3 or DIN A4) for Sunday. You can also download the sketch under "additional materials.

Hahnemülle the collection.
100% cotton cold pressed, density 300 g/m2.
Colors used in the course:
- burnt Sienna
- Ultramarine
- Aqua Green
- Transparent Alizarin
- Paynes Grey
- Cobalt Blue
- Aureolin
- Transparent Orange
- Cobalt yellow
- Lemon Yellow
- Natural Sienna
- White gouache
Brushes:
- Medium round brush in natural hair Da Vinci mix-b 2.
- Fine synthetic brush for details
- Synthetic flat brush
- Large brush for moistening the sheet
- Calligraphy brush
